Burberryの ステンカラーコートです。まだBurberryが丸善で取り扱われていた頃のものでmade in England のBurberry直輸入されていたものです。
マルゼンが取り扱っていた頃はマルゼンのプローサム＝バーバリーの最高峰という図式で取られられていたようです。
その後のBurberryのようにライセンス契約で日本独自で作られていたものと違い、Burberry本家の良さを味わいたい、英国製にこだわりたい方に最適です。
やはり生地や縫製、ボタンなど細部にいたるまていまみても良いなと思わせられるものです。
綿100%のギャバジンといわれる目の詰まった生地で防水性や耐久性が高いです。
実際現在でもヘタることなく着られる状態です。
また風合いも経年とともに味わい深くなっており新品にはないこなれ感や渋みが出ていると思います。
厚手すぎないため春先や電車移動など多い方の通勤なと幅広く使っていただけるかと思います。
紛失していることも多いベルトも付属しています。
タイロッケンコートのようにベルトで絞って着るスタイルも可能です。
