| あらすじ | 沖縄で生まれ育った金城健司は、海が大好きで、幼い頃は海の生き物に時を忘れて夢中になっていた。大人になり、本土で事業に失敗して借金を抱えた健司は、幼なじみの由莉との結婚を決意して沖縄に帰郷する。最初は母・花江に大反対されるも、新しく始めたバーが思いがけず大成功を収め、晴れて由莉と結婚する。２人の子どもにも恵まれ、店も順調に支店を増やし、無事借金の完全返済も果たした矢先、健司は突然“店を全部やめる”と宣言する。久しぶりに潜った海で、サンゴ礁の惨状を目の当たりにしてショックを受けた健司は、愛する由莉と子どもたちに、昔の美しかったサンゴの海を見せてやりたいとの強い思いに突き動かされてしまったのだ。そして、専門知識も資金もない中で、自らサンゴを養殖し、海に移植するという途方もない計画に邁進していくのだが…。 |
