チョッキのラインはチョッキの横から出た分が魚を突いたときの抵抗となります。そのためチョッキ用のラインは柔らかい方が有利です。このラインは非常に柔らかく魚を突いたときの抵抗を限りなく抑えております。
国産ステンレスワイヤーですと肉厚1.5㎜程度で耐荷重約50㎏程度です。それなりに丈夫ですがワイヤーは硬いためチョッキの真横にでた分が魚を貫通する時に抵抗となり、鱗の硬いマダイや射程ギリギリでのショットの際に不利となります。
またライン自体が柔らかいため身切れが起こりにくくなっております。
＜ダイニーマの特徴＞
他の素材と比較し耐摩耗性、耐衝撃性、耐候性にすぐれます。
耐候性とは太陽光や紫外線や温度の変化、水、酸素によって変形・変色・劣化などの変質を起こす事です。具体的には「変色する、硬くなる、強度が落ちる」等の事です。
ダイニーマは耐候性が高く、水中や海中で使用する素材として申し分ないため、釣り糸、網、船舶用ロープにも使用されるております。
またダイニーマは対屈曲疲労性にも優れます。
ワイヤーは曲がり癖が着き易く、同じ部位ばかり曲がって強度低下を起こすのに対し、ダイニーマは非常に柔らかく屈曲に対するダメージが極めて小さいです。
ライターでロープの端を炙ると簡単にほつれを防止できます。
写真に写るチタンチョッキは付属しません。ラインのみです。
