陰謀渦巻く戦国戦乱の世、大小様々な国が入り乱れる中、浪花と安須真(アズマ)の二大強国が西と東に君臨し、長きに渡り敵対関係を続けていた。
浪花に対し強烈な憎悪を抱く安須真は幾度となく隠密攻撃を浪花に仕掛けるが、それをことごとく撃破する浪花無敵の忍がいた……その名は恵比三(えびぞう)。
自らを最強最悪と謳うその忍に与えられた使命は、ある一人の僧侶の守護と敵国・安須真への文書の送達であった。
「ついに浪花が天下を取る時が来た!」と息巻く恵比三に手渡された一本の巻物〜浪花忍法帖〜。
恵比三は震える手で秘伝の巻物を受け取り、安須真城を目指すのだが、その行く手には安須真最強の忍・毘沙丸(びしゃまる)が立ちはだかるのだった。
迫り来る敵襲、毘沙丸との対決の行方、旅を共にする謎の僧侶……果たして恵比三は困難の数々を退けて遠く離れた安須真城へ辿り着くことが出来るのか!?
そして、この旅に隠された真の目的とは!?
