マーガレット・ワイス レイストリン・クロニクル The Soulforge 魂の剣 Brothers in arms 戦場の双子 洋書2冊を出品します。レイストリン・クロニクルは、ずっと邦訳されなかったため、原書を読みました。
まず、The Soulforge 魂の剣は、レイストリンの幼少期から大審問を受けるまでを扱っております。
この書のハイライトは、あの大審問の詳細な描写です。表題のsoulforgeとは、魔法使いの「魂」というものは、魔法という「るつぼ」の中で鍛錬され、槌によりその存在を形成されるということです。
ハードカバーです。
戦場の双子は、レイストリンの大審問後、兄弟の成長に、キティアラ、タキシスを崇めるドラゴン卿アリアカスを絡めて扱っております。面白かったので２回読みました。
いわゆるペーパーバックです。
ドラゴン・ランスの世界観が入っている方なら、なんとなく理解できてしまうかも知れません。
折れ、ヤブレ、書き込みはないのですが、経年変化はあります。
