巻末跋の冒頭に
清少納言枕草紙装束抄一巻は坪井先生兼て先達注し置るゝ云々
とあり。
壺井 義知、明暦3（1657）年～ 享保20（1735）年は、江戸時代の有職故実家。河内国出身。信州、加賀を遍歴した後京に出て貞享2年（1685年）四辻家に仕え、平田内匠に官職を学ぶ。公家の典拠故実に通じ、多くの著述をなし、和歌をもよくした。《ウィキペディア》に依る。
【内容】
『枕草子』の装束に関する段、場面、一文、一語などを取り上げ、
義案（ずるに）と自説を述べる形での解説書。
