ストレートフィルムを使用し、本来のプラスチックフィルムの明るさ、オープンな響き、タッチ感などを継承しつつASPRのDNAを有するドラムヘッドです。
スタンダードタイプのドラムヘッド
プラスチックフィルム（高結晶性フィルム）のドラムヘッドはフィルム素材の元来の性質から、縦、横（MD、TD）方向で伸び方が異なる事が知られています。
通常ストレートフィルム（無加工）は振動の自由度が大きく、可とう性にも富んでいるため一般に言われる、明るめのオープンな音、柔らかいタッチ感などが特徴です、反面、倍音成分の発生も多いため音程感を阻害する原因ともなります。
STヘッドはヘッド基本成形方法、使用材料によるフープ剛性の向上、フィルム成形条件、コーティングなど独自の加工方法により他社の製品より倍音の発生を抑制しており、倍音と音程感のバランスを考慮して製作されております。
また、ホワイトコーティングに仕上げ従来品との違和感も少なくしてあります。
