解脱を告げる右巻きの法螺貝で、生き続けることを意味します。勝利への導き、名声を広める意味もあります。
シャンカからでるブーーンという音は法音で、純白で清浄のシンボルです。
★五智如来の見事な彫り細工があるシャンカです。
【五智如来】
真言密教で、大日如来が備え持つ五つの智慧を5体の如来にあてはめたもの。
大日・阿(あしゅく)・宝生(ほうしょう)・阿弥陀・不空成就の金剛界五仏のことである。
大日如来（中心）

宝生如来（南方）
阿弥陀如来（西方）
不空成就如来（北方）
に位置する。
