優等生の兄が大好きな甘えん坊の少年シュウジが、ヤクザものや娼婦と知り合い、兄が起こした放火事件を通して成長していく姿を描く。
【ストーリー】
シュウジは出来のいい兄シュウイチのことが大好きな心優しい少年。
彼は、幼い頃に両親を自殺で失ったことで、世の中を斜に見ることしかできない孤独な少女エリと出会い淡い恋心を抱くが、エリは東京へ引っ越す。
やがて、大好きな兄シュウイチが挫折の後に起こした放火事件から、父は家を出て帰らず、母も姿を消す。
ひとりになったシュウジはエリの住む東京へ向かうが、その途中で殺人未遂事件を起こしてしまう。
