小橋川源慶 作 三彩丁字風呂（鎬）
伝説の名工、小橋川源慶氏です。作りは、鉄分の少ない胎土で成形後、耳や足など龍や獅子を器面に貼り付けています。伝統のオーグスヤー（緑釉）と飴釉を施してを施し、さらに透明釉を掛け1250度で本焼をしています。丁字風呂は昔、丁字の木を湯に入れ香炉として用いられていました。また源慶さんは、沖縄の代表的名工でした。盛上げや細工物を得意とし、現在沖縄でタックワサーと呼ばれる盛上げ技法で制作される作家はほとんどおりません。市場に作品は少なく大変貴重な作品です。

商品の特徴 手造り、在庫品
全て手作りのため、多少歪みが有ります。登り窯焼成ですので灰が付いたり、土物の特性上器面がざらついたり、化粧土が斑になったりするものがございますが、不良品ではございません。また、表面のヒビは貫入と言われ、胎土と上薬の収縮比率の違いにより入るもので傷ではありません。使い込むうち味わいとなり、愛着が湧くのでございます。
