酸化焼成は専用の窯を使用します。
Ｓポット 赤焼は赤土から生地を作り、高温酸化焼成した商品です。
三河焼、高温酸化焼成の焼成温度は1100℃位です。
素焼鉢（通常酸化焼成）や多くの輸入鉢は900℃前後です。
200℃温度が高いと土の締まりが、
素焼と比べると強くなり丈夫になります。
(素焼鉢は焼きあがった後も土と土の間に
空気や水を通す目に見えない微細な隙間が有る。
赤焼、白焼は、この隙間が焼き締まって
小さくなり硬く丈夫になります）。
赤焼、白焼にも通気性、排水性は有ります。
