昭和天皇お買い上げ、初代岡本卯三郎の代表作。
彫り込みで模様を描いたり、硬い材質の欅の木目を活かしたりと
従来の「こけし」に新しい息吹を吹き込んだ「初代岡本卯三郎」作の稀少な卯三郎こけしです。
欅(けやき)の木目の変化ある美しいところを選んで作られています。
40年以上前の作ですが、ほとんどスレ、傷もなく状態の良い綺麗なお品です。
最近「こけし」は海外、訪日外国人の間で大変人気が高まっています。
