②はじめての哲学史講義 PHP新書序章 哲学的幸福論の試み
あらゆる学問は、先行する時代の学術成果のもとに成り立っている。ゆえに、哲学を知るとは、哲学の歴史に学ぶことなのである。本書では、古代ギリシア哲学から近代西洋哲学、現在の言語哲学、構造哲学に至る「知」の系譜をわかりやすく紹介。
まず、古代は「自然の哲学」から出発する。タレス、デモクリトスなどである。ソクラテス、プラトン以降は「人間の哲学」の始まり。さらに中世は「キリスト教の哲学」、近代以降は「理性の哲学」として、デカルト、パスカル、カント、ヘーゲルなどが登場。一方、「感性の哲学」として括れるのは、スピノザ、ニューム、ルソー。「実証の哲学」は、ベンサム、コントといったところか。19世紀以降は、「存在の哲学」「経験の哲学」として、キルケゴールからマルクス、フロイトを紹介。そして現在は、ヴィトゲンシュタイン、フーコーなどの活躍による「言語・構造の哲学」である。
